Camp Quinebarge is a ready-made environmental learning center. Nestled on 70 acres of pristine forest and sitting on 1,250’ of beautiful and pristine Lake Kanasatka, Quinebarge is an ideal place to introduce children to our environment and what we can do to become good stewards of the planet. Quinebarge offers environmental activities and learning as an overlay on top of the traditional camp experience.

Campers create eco-tips at meals, bake banana bread in our solar cookers, learn to test water quality, take nature hikes on our extensive trail network and gain a greater appreciation for our environment in a fun, creative space. Our arts and crafts program features eco-arts and crafts projects along with traditional crafts.

Quinebarge also saves energy throughout camp, using LED lightbulbs, solar lighting on paths, instant water heaters, water saving devices and other energy and planet saving activities.

Our goal is to maintain the traditional camp experience that children have enjoyed for over 80 years while enhancing it with new environmental themes and activities along the way.
